Contact Igloo

Here at Igloo we’re all for a little bit of friendly competition, which is why we launched our Photo of the Month contest. You may have spotted this series already on our social channels, but we figured it was time to bring it to the blog too.

The contest encourages our employees to submit their best Igloo- themed photos for the chance to win a lucrative prize, with the photos judged anonymously by an independent team who pick their top three submissions.

So without further ado, here are the winners from our April competition…

In third place for April’s edition we have this super-cool shot from Pete Smith in our team down under. This picture at the University of South Australia shows the newly-revamped projector room where our team installed new projector arms and projectors, re-rigged its audio and connected a touchscreen TV - and we’re sure you’ll agree it’s looking quite impressive.

In second place for April’s Photo of the Month we have this impressive picture from Theo Penty, featuring location model Bill Banks. The snap shows the newly installed Igloo CAVE at the University of West of England - watch this space for more details on this latest addition to the Igloo offering. But for now, enjoy this mysterious shot of Bill looking like he’s recently joined the cast of Peaky Blinders.

And our winner for April’s Photo of the Month is of course this image from Jon Fowler, whom I’m sure you’ve already seen appear on our socials this month (it was so good we had to steal it for ourselves first).

The photo shows the Immersive Space at Nottingham Trent University, where we partnered with Roche AV, Optoma UK and Extron to install this engaging environment to run simulated events for trainee and student paramedics, social workers and police officers.

It was a clear winner for us as it shows perfectly how Igloo technology can be used to aid universities with the equipment they need to provide crucial training for their students.

Enjoyed this series? Stay tuned for May’s competition coming shortly.
