Contact Igloo

We’ve always stood by the motto that, in Igloo Shared VR, everything rests on the content.

As VR and 360° content becomes more pervasive, it’s getting easier to create great content. And, to give you a helping hand, we’ve put together a short series of video tutorials on how you can use Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop to create and format your content for Igloo Shared VR.

How to set up a new project for Igloo

The first step, naturally, is to set up a new project or composition. The Igloo canvas has a unique aspect ratio of 8:1 that doesn’t exist in the presets for Adobe Premiere or After Effects. So this video will take you through the steps on how to get that correct canvas size.

How to create a title or holding slide for Igloo

While Google Slides is incredibly useful for creating a 360° presentation, it doesn’t have all the tools you might need to really customise your content. For example, if you want to create a seamless wraparound slide, Adobe Photoshop can do that more easily, as shown in this video. Plus, it’ll show you how to get around pixellated images.

How to adapt your standard videos for Igloo

An Igloo offers a vast, 360° wraparound screen - but you’ll probably have standard aspect ratio videos that you still want to show in your Igloo. This video shows you three ways to still make use of that full canvas even if your videos themselves don’t fill it, whether they are 4K or HD.

How to export your content for Igloo

This video explains four ways to export your content from Adobe Premiere, covering the different methods and the reasons why you might want to use them.

If you’re interested in finding out more about how to access and create content for an Igloo, we’d urge you to look back over some of our recent blog posts:

We’d love to hear if you found these resources useful - and we’d especially love to hear if you’ve had a go creating some content after following the tutorials.
