One Manhattan Square is an 800-foot-tall glass tower being built on the edge of the New York Harbor on the Lower East Side. With epic river and skyline views and 100,000 square foot of amenity space, the new condominium block is described as a true vertical village.
As part of its promotional campaign, Extell created a Shared VR marketing suite. The 6-metre installation, based on a standard Igloo Shared VR cylinder, features the usual five-projector rig. Partners include JDAV who commissioned the integration and River Film who produced the sumptuous 8K content.
The suite is a little like a time machine. It is used to show prospective tenants how their finished homes will look and feel. Then, when they visit the actual building, it’s as though they’ve been there before.
