Four areas Igloo technology can add value in making hybrid work
21st February 2022
Since the pandemic, many businesses have switched to a hybrid model of working. It gives employees the best of both worlds, with more time at home…
When it comes to training with Shared VR, Lanes Group plc is a global pace-setter.
The firm was one of the first to see the potential of the technology as an enterprise tool. Its achievements have been remarkable. And we're pleased to share a full case study.
In brief, Lanes has integrated Igloo Shared VR technology into a wider programme of Health & Safety and Learning & Development initiatives, including:
- A revamped approach to training
- An innovative wellbeing initiative
- A new professional development programme
A custom-built 7-metre Igloo Vision projection cylinder now plays a central role in the revamped approach to training, and Shared VR is being deeply integrated into the way Lanes trains its people.
The results include a 57% reduction in employee attrition, a 9% reduction in employee feelings of unhappiness, and a £1million reduction in recruitment and training costs.
That's just a snapshot - for the deep-dive into the full story, download the case study.
