Contact Igloo

For Igloo, the Architecture, Engineering and Construction sector has always been an important market. One big reason for this is the fact that our Igloo Immersive Media Player integrates, out-of-the-box, with a huge range of industry-standard 3D design, visualisation, coordination and planning tools.

We’re always adding to that range. And we’re pleased to share that the latest integration is VRcollab - a platform that empowers both BIM users and non-BIM stakeholders alike.

VRcollab is a tool to enable remote collaboration from offices and sites all over the world. Easy-to-use, it allows for access via desktop, or a VR head-mounted-devices - and now via an Igloo shared immersive environment.

It allows you to view your Revit, Navisworks, Rhino3D, Archicad, and Sketchup models, along with other 3D formats (.obj, .fbx). So, whatever you’re used to working with, you can get right inside your models as a team with Igloo Shared VR in VRcollab.

One-click exports make it simple to share your models. Plus, with Automated Report Generation, VRcollab does the work of automatically generating a coordination report so that you and your team can concentrate on the designs at hand.

Check out the video for an idea of how VRcollab works in Igloo Shared VR.

And, of course, if you’d like to find out more about how you can enhance collaboration for your BIM workflows with Shared VR, just get in touch.
