You might know that we’ve been working in Australia for a little while now - since 2017, to be precise. We’ve already delivered spectacular Shared VR events and installations for the likes of Optus, NSW Environmental Protection Authority, the Department of Defence and PwC.
Now, we’ve made a permanent home down under in the Thornbury suburb of Melbourne, equipped as a Shared VR centre complete with a 6-metre Igloo cylinder. So now there’s a handy spot for clients and content creators to test-drive Shared VR, and it can be hired for events or collaborative teamwork sessions.
The office is home to an initial team of five - Head of Business Asia Pacific, James Sheridan, Business Development Executive and Assistant, Alexander Pillai and Dinushi Rupasinghe, and two Project Managers, Dan Lualdi and Vikas Dayal. The team is already in the process of delivering new installations to a range of clients, including two prestigious universities and a contract with a Singaporean Museum, and has picked up a slew of media coverage.
So if you’re in the Australasia or Asia Pacific areas, and have been looking for a way to set free your VR content from headsets, look no further - Igloo Vision is ready to meet all your Shared VR needs.
