Igloo Vision and Virtualware Announce Strategic Alliance to Offer Igloo’s Shared Immersive Spaces together with the VIROO XR Platform.
Igloo Vision, the global leader in shared immersive spaces, and Virtualware (EPA:ALVIR), the European pioneer in 3D-driven enterprise software, today announced a strategic alliance to offer Igloo’s Shared Immersive Spaces together with the VIROO XR Platform.

This agreement permits organizations across industry and education to now create, distribute and scale immersive content with greater ease, across XR headsets, flat screens and now Igloo's 360° shared immersive environments.
Igloo Vision enables organizations to visualize, collaborate, and make decisions inside shared immersive spaces. Its enterprise-grade software platform, Igloo Core Engine, is the operating system for immersive environments, powering visualization, simulation, and collaboration across multiple space types, display formats, and industries, and turning complex digital information into clear, shared understanding.
VIROO is a platform-first XR infrastructure that enables organizations to create, deploy, and scale collaborative immersive solutions across multiple devices and environments. It provides full data control, resilient and continuous operations, and a flexible architecture built for interoperability and long-term adaptability, making it the XR platform of choice for critical real-world operations.
For Igloo Vision clients, the integration with VIROO means they can now create, host and manage their immersive applications within a single platform, deploying content instantly across VR headsets, desktops and Igloo immersive spaces.

“This partnership brings the best of both worlds together - VIROO’s pioneering XR Platform and Igloo Vision’s industry-leading shared immersive environments,” said Kerry Head, CEO at Igloo Vision. “Clients can now develop once, deploy everywhere, and collaborate in entirely new ways.”
For existing VIROO customers, this alliance allows them to deploy their XR applications into Igloo's large-scale shared immersive environments.
“By integrating with Igloo products, we give VIROO users the freedom to choose the immersive format that works best for each use case or even combine different formats,” said Unai Extremo, CEO of Virtualware. “It’s a major step forward for scalable, device‑agnostic immersive adoption.”
The Igloo Vision and Virtualware alliance offers clear benefits for the customers of both companies, especially those who are already using both solutions, but independently of each other.
