[Press Release]

Igloo Vision, the shared immersive space company, is set to return to InfoComm 2026 with its most advanced showcase yet, marking the first public debut of the multi-award-winning Igloo Core Engine 2.0 in North America.

Having launched in the UK in April, InfoComm will be the first opportunity for the wider industry to experience the next generation of Igloo’s industry-leading software platform in a live environment.

At booth C5823, Igloo Vision will demonstrate how immersive spaces are becoming more accessible, more scalable, and more impactful for organisations across enterprise and education, with a particular focus on the immersive classroom and the growing role of immersive technology in Higher Education.

Igloo Vision’s presence at InfoComm 2026 follows a major moment of industry recognition, having recently secured two AV Awards Americas wins. Igloo Core Engine was awarded Collaboration Technology of the Year, recognising its ability to transform how teams communicate, collaborate, and work together in shared immersive environments.

In addition, Igloo Vision was also recognized alongside its client EY, for Workplace Project of the Year for its work on EY’s The Sphere, highlighting the company’s ability to deliver impactful, real-world immersive environments at scale.

The team will be celebrating both wins at the official awards event during InfoComm, marking a significant milestone in Igloo’s continued expansion across the Americas.

Alongside the AV Award wins, Igloo is hopeful to make yet another mark at the HETMA Higher Ed AV Awards, following last year’s success where Igloo Vision took home five awards at the show. With an even stronger pipeline of projects and continued growth across the education sector, Igloo is hopeful to build on this momentum and exceed last year’s achievements, with more entries than ever, by showcasing some of its most impactful immersive classroom and learning environment deployments to date.

At the heart of Igloo’s stand will be a fully immersive classroom environment, powered by Igloo Core Engine and designed to showcase the potential of immersive learning in Higher Education.
Visitors will experience a high-performance space featuring Epson 16,000 lumen 4K projection, delivering an exceptionally bright and detailed visual environment. The installation will also include floor projection and touch interactivity, providing multiple ways for users to engage with content and control the experience, and demonstrating how immersive technology can support different teaching styles and learning environments.

With universities and colleges increasingly investing in immersive technology, Igloo Vision will be highlighting its growing footprint in the education sector and the wide range of use cases now being deployed, from simulation-based learning to collaborative teaching environments.
Further reinforcing this focus, Igloo Vision will once again be working closely with HETMA the show, including sponsoring their InfoComm Happy Hour.

This continued partnership reflects Igloo’s commitment to supporting the global Higher Education community and driving forward innovation in immersive teaching and learning. The collaboration provides an opportunity to connect directly with education leaders and demonstrate how shared immersive spaces are already being used to enhance student engagement and improve learning outcomes.

InfoComm 2026 will also serve as a key moment to showcase the full capabilities of Igloo Core Engine 2.0, the latest evolution of Igloo’s software platform for immersive spaces.

Building on Igloo’s nearly 20 years of experience, Igloo Core Engine 2.0 introduces a range of enhancements designed to make immersive spaces even easier to deploy and manage, while unlocking new possibilities for content and interaction. The platform has been refined to deliver faster setup, more streamlined content management, and a more intuitive user experience, alongside expanded functionality that allows organisations to get even more value from their immersive environments.

“These updates reinforce Igloo’s core mission: to remove complexity from immersive technology and make it accessible to a wider range of organisations. InfoComm is always a major moment for us, and this year feels particularly special” said Kerry Head, CEO at Igloo Vision.

“We’re not only showcasing the next evolution of our platform with Igloo Core Engine 2.0, but also celebrating significant recognition from the AV Awards Americas. Bringing all of this together in North America, alongside our growing partnerships in Higher Education, makes this a landmark show for us.”

With a mission to make immersive technology more accessible, adaptable, and impactful, Igloo Vision invites attendees to experience first-hand how shared immersive spaces are reshaping communication, collaboration, and learning.
