Whether you are hosting a corporate brand activation, exhibiting at a huge trade show, or hosting a high-end product launch, the environment defines the experience. While domes have long been a staple of the event world, there is a new shape taking centre stage for those who value visibility, accessibility, and high-impact branding.
At Igloo Vision, we’ve seen a massive shift toward Immersive Cylinders. Here is why cylinders are the perfect choice for your next outdoor or high-traffic event.
One of the biggest hurdles with traditional domes is their "closed-door" nature. To see the magic, you usually have to go inside.
Our Igloo Cylinders are available in 180°, 240°, and 300° configurations (as well as the usual 360° when needed), which are designed to be open-fronted structures. This makes them the perfect showpiece for events. Instead of a mysterious structure, passers-by can see the immersive content from the outside, drawing them in naturally. It creates a "theatre" effect where the audience becomes part of the spectacle before they even step foot inside.
No matter what the event, it’s always about social interaction. Putting a single user in a VR headset isolates them from the crowd and can feel disconnected.
With an Igloo Cylinder, you create a Shared VR experience. Everyone sees the same content at the same time. It’s a collective "wow" moment that encourages conversation, collaboration, and shared memories: the holy grail of event marketing.
In certain settings, your structure needs to work hard even when the projectors are switched off.

Events are fast-paced, and setup time is money. Our cylinders are engineered for rapid deployment.
We offer a range of sizes to ensure your immersive experience fits your guest list perfectly:
Our most popular "all-rounder", and our standard product offering, can comfortably host between 15 and 20 guests. It strikes the perfect balance between a small footprint and a large-scale feel, making it the go-to for VR demonstrations and experiential marketing tours.
Aside from our standard 6-metre offering, we can also create custom size cylinders that can host either a bigger or smaller audience, depending on your needs. Historically, these have ranged from as small as 5-metres for more intimate settings, to as big as 21-metres for large-scale engagement, with most opting for around 9-metres to suit a good-sized crowd.
